MakandGinger

This is a shot of Mak and her pal Ginger during brunch a couple of weeks back.

When I bought the bottle brush, I had no idea it would someday be the catalyst for a new entrpreneurial enterprise: Worldwide Baby Wrestling.

She doesn't know it yet, but I plan to partner with Deb in a new business venture: I want to start sewing Mexican wrestling outfits for babies.

The nice part is, since they will tie-on and also be made of wipe-clean, 100% free-range Naugahyde, moms will also be able to use them during mealtimes.

My company name is all picked out: Li'l Wrestlers

The apostrophe is really important. It means you can ditch all the other letters in 'little' and make it sound really super cute without looking like you're dumb and don't know how to spell. That's a smashing combination, as most men will tell you: Super cute and not dumb.

If you'd like to order yours today (and I know you do), send me an email. Since neither Deb nor I know how to sew, we'll have to pay my mom to do it. That does up the cost ante a bit, so I think $500 per outfit is a good price.

Yes, that sounds like a lot of money - until you realize they will all come with a mask, a matching cape, little hip boots, a prop of choice (a little folding chair or championship belt, perhaps?) and a wrestling name for your baby - as well as a personalized backstory.

If you ask me, it's a darned near irresistible bargain.

Your Mexican wrestling outfits for the babies is a great idea -- a little demented -- but good none the less; so I'm in. When do I get paid?

Maybe "we" (meaning: your mom) can branch out and make Mexican wrestling style wetsuits for the guys. Shannon already has a great name, "The Varmint." He can start a new San Diego surf style. Wow, the visual on that is a bit scary. (No offense Shannon.)
