Braincation - Julia Pfeiffer Burns

Lately when I've been daydreaming, here's where you'll find me. I took this shot of the coast of Big Sur a few years back, but I visited there just yesterday in my head.

I remember getting to this particular spot, just south of Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, early in the morning - and having it all to myself.

There's just something about the smell of sea spray and pine trees that acts as a balm. Throw in a cup of hot coffee and a good breakfast and your world will brighten a wee bit that day.
